Turing Tumble is a revolutionary new game where players build mechanical computers powered by marbles to solve logic puzzles.  While playing, students will discover how computers work and how to code without words!

Other HASD Foundation Grants 2021-22

Whole Phonics, Decodable Texts, Grades K-2: these carefully written and sequenced books aid not only in teaching kids to read, but having them be excited to do so
Cover Me Book Repair Machine: provides cost-effective and long-term book repair solution for library books that expereince disrepair due to heavy usage
Projection Project: purchased and installed a ceiling mounted projector for the FOT STEM classroom, making lessons easier  (can read more here)
Interventions for the Trauma-Informed Classroom: added items to the Title I classroom that will assist in brain regulation and help students focus during reading lessons
Senior High Greenhouse: this grant ties STEM related consumable resources to the greenhouse for use by students at the Senior High, CWL, Frankstown and the MDS classroom
Greenhouse Start Up: provided materials for students and staff at the Frankstown greenhouse
eSports: funds used to purchase start up materials to establish an eSports league at the HAHS and open up the chance to play on a team to many more students
Inclusive Art Classroom: replaced very old tables in FOT art room, providing improved surfaces that welcome students and foster creativity
Make it by Hand: this grant provided the JH shop classroom with a wide array of basic and essential handheld and portable power tools that they were lacking allowing them to pair past and present technology and bring handmade projects to fruition
Micro:bits: provided filament for the 3D printer at CWL which was sitting unused and allowed students to begin utilizing the technology
Tools of Our Trade: each student in Art 2, 3 and 4 will be given a toolbox filled with basic supplies that are used frequently by students; this toolbox will remain with the students until graduation, where it will then be recycled and refilled for new incoming students
