What we fund

The grants funded enhance the learning opportunities for our students. They also give teachers a chance to bring new and innovative ideas to their classrooms.
STEM & Innovation
STEM Labs, Finch Robots, Turing Tumble and Micro:bits for hands-on Science, Technology, Engineering and Math.
Arts & Creativity
An inclusive art classroom and student toolboxes for Art 2, 3 and 4 that stay with students until graduation.
Libraries & Literacy
Decodable texts for grades K-2, a book repair machine and a renovated small group reading room.
Student Wellness
Trauma-informed classroom tools that help students focus, and a more welcoming school entrance.
Teacher Innovation
Venture Grants and Educator-in-Residence Grants awarded to our teachers and administrators.
Hands-On Learning
Greenhouses, an eSports league and power tools that bring handmade shop projects to life.

Hands-on STEM projects, including Finch Robots that give students a chance to see Computer Science come alive.

Students build mechanical computers powered by marbles to solve logic puzzles, and discover how to code without words.

EITC / EIO
Businesses Can Help Shape the Future of Education
The Foundation is an Educational Improvement Organization (EIO), which allows us to accept donations from your business through Pennsylvania’s Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) program. Business Partners can also sponsor a grant and receive updates on the project from start to finish.

Recognition
Educator & Community Recognition
The Foundation honors an Elementary and a Secondary Educator of the Year. The Impact Award recognizes people in our district who have a positive impact on our students but are not educators, such as paraprofessionals, custodians and food service providers.
